Hi, I’m Stephanie, the digital marketing engineer behind Coin & Copy.

Are you living your dream? I'm not. At least, not yet.

We all have talents that are meant to give us purpose. A lot of people can't translate those talents into something that puts food on the table so we have a whole world of people living outside of their purpose.

I want to help those people actualize those talents. My dream is to live in a world where everyone can live in their purpose and be happy.

I grew up around some of the most talented people you could ever know. Especially my big brother who was the best artist I knew. I saw him draw logos and fashion drawings and he even started his on clothing label, S. T. U. F. F., Satisfaction to Utilize for Fashion. It was a huge local success. As his talent grew, his opportunities grew. He got a full scholarship to an art school in Philadelphia.

But he couldn't go. Our family was in the middle of a foreclosure and his mom convinced him he needed to stay home to help raise us (we were foster kids.) He handed all the money to his mom and couldn't keep the business going without reinvesting the profits.

It was the first time I'd seen a dream die.

But for every dollar my brother didn't have, he invested in to us. He helped us with school, he taught me to tie my shoes and he always made sure we were loved. He taught me everything I knew about marketing, even though I didn't know how to use it yet.

No one I knew had a lot of money growing up. We all thought to live the good life we had to get college degrees. Those degrees would get us good jobs and out of the vicious cycle of poverty we were all trapped in.

Been there and did that. It was all a lie.

$26k in student loans and a job I wasn’t in love with later I was still trapped. I figured out for myself that being middle class had its own vicious cycle:

“Being able to afford the things you need with the illusion of being able to get the things you want.”

To get out of debt I learned everything I could about personal finance. Using all I had learned I got out of debt and I gained a new passion. I started helping family members with their debt. Then co-workers. I liked personal finance so much I decided to turn writing about it into a career.

But something was missing. My clients would request writing but didn’t have an overall strategy. I helped so many that I realized my passion had grown up. That passion became Coin and Copy Digital Marketing Agency.

Side Note: I went to the University of Virginia and gained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
